Huernias, except for zebrina (which I already have).
Known-cultivar mulberry. I already have "Dwarf Everbearing", but would like anything else as long as you know which cultivar it is.
Any known-cultivar osage orange. Thornless cultivars would be extra dreamy. I will be shocked if anyone has this, but I can always hope.

Fall 2019 Have
We had another great swap today. Even though it was raining, we had around 50 to 55 people (getting an accurate count was like herding cats). The food was really good too. I won't mention anything particular because I don't want to leave anyone's great cooking out, but man there was some good stuff! Quite a few people stayed to socialize. That's always been my favorite par

Samantha, I should have plenty of tomato plants at the swap. Try to catch me early so you can have your pick. I probably won't have a whole lot of any one particular cultivar.
Karin, sorry, but I doubt I will dig any passionflower plants this year. I could harvest seeds, but that will be later on in the season.

I got lots of tomatoes that need a home and could probably come up with some interesting mints.

Spring 2019 Want
Kim, I put you down for two A.R.German Green tomatoes. I grew them for the first time last year and was extremely impressed. Two plants should give you enough tomatoes to enjoy. I would be interested in your Rise-n-Shine rose, but I don't know if two tomato plants would be worth a rose. I should have more later, so if the rose is still available and you are interested in trading, I will s

Spring 2019 Discussion
We need a lot more participation with the potluck meal following the swap. Last fall was VERY disappointing with only one other person staying for the meal. If you come to the swap and can possibly stay and socialize, please stick around and enjoy the opportunity to chat with fellow gardeners. We've had some really outstanding dishes in past years, and I hope we can do that again this spri

Mark, thanks for the offer. I will probably have to pass for now.
Frances, do you have a plant or were you thinking about taking cuttings? I was really hoping for a full-size tree, but I might find a place for a smaller one. Do you have this one planted outside?

Frances, I looked and did find a tiny one. It's about an inch tall. I will monitor it when spring gets here to see if it makes it though the winter.

Spring 2019 Have
Attendance was down a little this fall. We had 22 attendees. We also had very few people stay for lunch. I guess we will either not have lunch next fall, or try some other way of doing it. It's a shame that a few people take the time to make stuff and then no one wants to stick around long enough to socialize a little and enjoy the food. I know some people have things that they have to d

Fall 2018 Results
Unfortunately, something has eaten every maypop fruit. I looked around on the ground to see if there was anything left, but found nothing at all. There were a bunch of fruits just the other day, but nothing now. Sorry.

Suzanne, you got it!
LOL, Frances. The problem with me keeping it inside is that I water my inside plants about once every 3 to 4 weeks. Almost all my plants are succulents and cacti. I don't think a pitcher plant would make it. You could come over and build me a bog.

I wish I had know you wanted maypops, yesterday. I could have got you a bunch. I might still be able to get you some seeds if you wanted to grow them from seed. One thing about maypops that you need to know is that they can be extremely aggressive in decent soil. They will quickly take over if happy. I have just a few left in a fencerow, growing along with the grass in poor clay soil. I don&

Fall 2018 Discussion
Leigh, I don't know why no one else is posting this year. We do have some lookers and quite a few people on Facebook that say they are coming. If you don't get a response, don't give up. Just bring what you have to the swap. I am pretty sure we will have at least 20 swappers. Our average for fall swaps is about 25 to 30 (last year 27, year before 31).
