Edited: I drove down there today and took a look. The one we will be at is the one called Shelter #1. Like you say, it is the one closer to the middle of the park and is at the western side (near the road). The map I was looking at before didn't even show Shelter #2. Thankfully there appears to be plenty of tables and room to walk, so we should be in good shape even if it rains. Also, there's plenty of parking, even for a larger crowd.
