Edited: I drove down there today and took a look. The one we will be at is the one called Shelter #1. Like you say, it is the one closer to the middle of the park and is at the western side (near the road). The map I was looking at before didn't even show Shelter #2. Thankfully there appears to be plenty of tables and room to walk, so we should be in good shape even if it rains. Also, tby Brandon7 - Spring 2024 Discussion
We had 23 attendees this time. That's far less than we'd hoped for, but somewhere around average for a fall swap. The weather was great and I think everyone that attended had a great time. I got some awesome plants, including quite a few begonias I didn't already have. Now all I need is a giant greenhouse!by Brandon7 - Fall 2023 Results

It seems that quite a few people are looking at the posts on here for this fall, but very few are posting or actively participating on this site. For those of you looking here, don't assume that low traffic counts on here necessarily means few people at the swap. Multiple facebook groups have posts about this fall's swap, and quite a few people have responded to those posts. I'mby Brandon7 - Fall 2023 Discussion
1-gallon (trade gallon) or slightly smaller (but not too small) thermoformed/co-extruded/euro nursery pots. Thermoformed/co-extruded/euro pots are the thin but long-lasting pots like Proven Winners plants come in. I really don't need more blow-mold (standard cheap pots that break down pretty quickly) right now. Frances, I would love to have a variegated strawberry begonia. I have one that looks a little like 'Wightii', and could even be that cultivar, but doesn't look as bold as the Google Pics of that plant. The dots on mine look faded compared to the pictures. It could just need better light, etc.by Brandon7 - Fall 2023 Have
Leigh, Thanks for the heads-up about the log-in/log-out deal. I had clicked the wrong button. I think I have it fixed now! I really really really appreciate you letting me know, otherwise I don't think I would have ever have known what was happening.by Brandon7 - Fall 2023 Have

Leigh, You are welcome. I just wish I had better facilities here (bathrooms, shelter, etc). Brandonby Brandon7 - Fall 2023 Have
Multiple types of Tradescantia. These work great for hanging baskets (they are relatively fast growing vines). Begonia rooted cutting Baby trees, but I'm not sure which ones I will be bringing, yet. Asimina triloba (pawpaw) seeds - these are from my orchard, so they are likely to produce trees with fruit superior to wild pawpaw trees. Thanks for everyone that came to the Spring 2023 East Tennessee Plant Swap today. We only had around 45 people, but it was still a lot of fun! I found homes for all the plants I took, and I came home with a few neat plants and some awesome pots. We had a few people that didn't understand how the swap works. We don't sell things and we don't take things without asking. Hopefby Brandon7 - Spring 2023 Results

We had a wonderful swap today! Thank you to everyone that came out and participated. We had at least 50 attendees, which is an all-time record for a FALL swap. Personally, I was able to find homes for every single plant I brought and came home with some really cool stuff. Just a couple of days before the swap, I had been looking though a nursery's website wishing I had a certain kinda rby Brandon7 - Fall 2022 Results

I haven't grown an Acer pensylvanicum because all my maples so far are in full sun. I plan on expanding into a wooded area, but I haven't gotten that area cleaned out yet and that maple, I believe, really needs at least a little shade. If you have an extra one, let me know and I will work on making a space for it if you want to trade it.by Brandon7 - Fall 2022 Have
Steve, I'd love to trade for a Begonia grandis. Do you happen to have any interesting, small-growing maples that could take full sun? I've started a maple collection and have five or six species so far.by Brandon7 - Fall 2022 Have
