Multiple types of Tradescantia. These work great for hanging baskets (they are relatively fast growing vines). Begonia rooted cutting Baby trees, but I'm not sure which ones I will be bringing, yet. Thanks for everyone that came to the Spring 2023 East Tennessee Plant Swap today. We only had around 45 people, but it was still a lot of fun! I found homes for all the plants I took, and I came home with a few neat plants and some awesome pots. We had a few people that didn't understand how the swap works. I haven't grown an Acer pensylvanicum because all my maples so far are in full sun. I plan on expanding into a wooded area, but I haven't gotten that area cleaned out yet and that maple, I believe, really needs at least a little shade. If you have an extra one, let me know and I will work on making a space for it if you want to trade it.

The rain stopped Friday night and the weather was wonderful for the swap. We ended up with about 55 people, including a couple that showed up after most everyone else had gone. I'm going to try to remember to post an ending time for the swap next time so people know it's not an all-day event. I found homes for all the plants I brought, which was wonderful. I really like these types of pots because they hold up well in the sun and tend to last a long time with use. I really don't need more blow-mold (standard cheap pots that break down pretty quickly) right now.

Mark, your message came through. I think you just forgot to check the "Keep A Copy In My Sent Items" box, so that's why it doesn't show on your end. Record Turnout for a Fall Swap - 4 years ago

We had a record turnout, for a fall swap! There were 45 people and 1 dog. Thankfully the weather was great and temperatures were very comfortable. I do wish more people had taken advantage of the pot-luck lunch. The food was really good, but a lot went uneaten. Maybe we'll skip the lunch next year.
